CHAIRWOMAN | PARTNER

Kathryn Moore Baker

Kathryn is a US national with over 30 years of business experience in a range of industries. She serves on several boards and is Chairwoman of Fynd Ocean Ventures, Genetic Analysis and Pensionera and is a member of the Investment Committee of The Norwegian DFI, Norfund. She was on the Executive Board of the Central Bank of Norway and the European Advisory Board of the Tuck School of Business. She led the Ethics Committee of the Norwegian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association, where she was also Chairwoman. She was a partner at the Norwegian private equity firm Reiten & Co for 15 years. Prior to that, she was a consultant at McKinsey & Co in Oslo and a financial analyst at Morgan Stanley in New York.

Alessia Schmid

Alessia is a Swiss/Italian national with over 15 years of diversified business experience, mainly as a Swiss and International Attorney-at-Law. She has developed a substantial expertise in identifying, evaluating and mitigating risks as a business adviser for international companies, groups and family offices. Her area of expertise also extends to entities pursuing sustainable development objectives, digital companies and start-ups. Sharing the entrepreneurial spirit of her clients, Alessia launched her own law firm in 2019, after several years of collaboration with leading firms in Geneva (Ernst & Young, Python & Oberson Abels SA). She has built a strong international network, working with the highest level of integrity and deep commitment. Alessia was recognized as the Swiss Tax Lawyer of the Year by Lawyer Monthly and her peers in 2020 and received the 2020-2021 Corporate LiveWire Innovation & Excellence Award in Taxation. She is currently serving as member of the Tax and Financial Commission of the Geneva Bar Association, various Associations’ Committees and vice-chairwoman of a charitable organization. Alessia obtained a private pilot license (PPL-Airplane) and is currently the President of the Flying Club Association in Prangins (Vaud, Switzerland). Spoken French, English and Italian.

Peter Hewitt

Peter has been Chairman or Director of 13 UK Public Companies over the last 25 years and was a founding director of 8 of those. He is currently Chairman of Vordere PLC and Blackfinch Spring VCT PLC; a non-executive director of Puma 10 VCT PLC, and a senior Adviser at Brennan and Partners. In 2018 he stepped down after a 6 year term as an Alderman in the City of London where he sat on numerous committees including City’s Finance, Investment and Property Committees (£6 Billion under management) and was the inaugural Chairman of the City’s £20m Social Investment Fund. Peter is an Honorary Group Captain in 601 (County of London) Squadron Royal Auxiliary Air Force.

Michael Palm

Michael is a Swedish/Swiss national with over 30 years experience in international industrial and financial markets, mainly as an entrepreneur and active owner in small/midcap Private Equity market companies. He is the founding partner of Seven Summits Capital, a family office investing in N. European turnarounds and Nordic forestry. He was a partner in the US Private Equity fund Sun Capital Partners building its Nordic practice. He spent 15 years in management in paper, chemical, commodities trading and investment banking in Europe and North America. As CEO of StoraEnso Cell International he oversaw turnover in excess of USD1 Billion. He was partner at global commodities trading house, CellMark, as founder and developer of a speciality cellulose trading division. Bi-lingual Swedish English. Spoken French and German.
